Parliament of the Daleks
Above a small grey planet 300 lightyears away from Skaro, a colossal spaceship was suspended in the vacuum of space. It was the Dalek mothership. On the inside, thousands upon thousands of Daleks were hearkening to the vital words of their supreme masters; the Prime Minister and the Supreme. Nothing was heard bar their voices.
"It has been brought to our attention that the defenses have been weakened in the Asylum," the Prime Minister said, its grating voice echoing around the room, piercing the silence. "Something must be done. The Asylum shall be cleansed." Its single yellow eye darted across the room, examining each and every Dalek, looking for volunteers, but to no avail.
"Drastic action must be taken!", the Supreme declared, with its booming voice creeping throughout the room. "We must resort to using--"
"The Predator. The Predator of the Daleks!", interrupted the Prime Minister. All Daleks were intimidated by these words; they all moved back a fraction, and their irises contracted in fear.
"Daleks do not fear lesser beings!", shouted the Supreme. Inside, it still had an abundance of fear.
Everything went silent.
Below the ship, in the grey planet that was the Asylum, there was a room. A room full of mentally scarred Daleks in intensive care. They were eavesdropping on the Parliament's discussion. Though they were tired and almost dead, the word 'predator' woke them up. Suddenly, they began to move erratically and started to scream, as if something had scared them. Because something had.
